Donate to Shaolin Zen |
Bodhidharma lost the Chinese Emperor's respect when he informed the Emperor that all his money spent building temples didn't change his place in Heaven.
I don't know what Bodhidharma's words were, but all Buddhists rely on donations to build and maintain their temples and feed their monks.
Shaolin Zen has lectures, workshops, seminars, and classes that generate some income. The more money we have, the more things we can do.
We do appreciate your help. |

Shaolin Donor
The following donation is a recurring monthly donation of $25
Smaller donations are nice. Yet, it takes money
to keep our website running, support our programs
and feed our staff.
We realize that most religions receive millions of
dollars in donations. We're not seeking to conquer
the world, just improve it, as much as we can.
One-time donation: $100

Buddha Donor
The following donation is a recurring monthly donation of $100
In 2006, as I write this page, we don't have enough
money to pay our rent or work beyond the confines of
Master Zhen's computer. I've got dreams and visions
that only money can create. I'm ready.
If you can afford to donate $1,000
we will put it to good use.
One-time donation: $1,000

Shaolin Zen is NOT a nonprofit organization or registered as a Church with the IRS.
Although Master Zhen intended for Shaolin Zen to be his nonprofit church when he started the filing process with the IRS in 1996, the Utah Arts Council and other supportive organizations in Utah advised Master Zhen to register as Tai Chi Youth, a school, not a church, so that governments and art councils could donate and contribute to our programs.
Accordingly, Master Zhen Shen-Lang / Richard Connor, created Tai Chi Youth, Inc. as our nonprofit charitable organization.
For tax benefits you can donate to Tai Chi Youth instead.
Payments are processed at PayPal.com by our parent company, Shaolin Communications.
Donations to Shaolin Zen go into the bank account of Shaolin Communications, which oversees the business enterprises of sole proprietor, Richard O'Connor.
Thank you for supporting these enterprises, events, projects, and programs where we strive to "entertain and enlighten."
Or, you can just buy a bunch of our stuff. We make a small profit off our sales.
Thank you.
